The unique high-capacity drainage channel on every tile sheet guarantees the water tightness even in stormy weather. There is no need for side lap sealing. This also contributes to the versatility of the Phoenix systems plus its overall economy. Cross profiles have a dampening effect to reduce noise to a minimum.
The sheets are easy to handle, weighing only 7Kg/sq.m. Installation does not require special tools nor special practice further savings are possible due to easy installation. For fastening, self-drilling screws are recommended to eliminate pre-drilling of sheets. The roof systems is ordered cut-to-length, ready for installation with no on-site cuttings required. This also means savings because no waste material arises. Maintenance requirements are minimal. Touch-up paint is available for visual reparations. However, minor scratches do not affect the durability of the roofing itself.
DURABLE COATED STEEL
The raw material for PHOENIX tile sheetings. organic coated steel, features the best properties of two excellent materials, the strength and toughness off steel and the appearance and anti-corrosive properties of the coating which may is PVC (Plastisol). The sheets’ steel core is surfaced with many protective layers. It is hot dip galvanised on both sides. The colour surface is incorporated as part of the manufacturing process, so no surface treatment is necessary at the installation stage. As a roofing material, coated steel has outstanding characteristics. PHOENIX tile sheets are unaffected by cold weather or by heat waves. Snow will not build up, nor does seeping melting snow occur.
