WE CATER TO ALL REQUIREMENTS

We pride ourselves on be able to cater all our customers’ needs whether it be a simple 50mm x 50mm or 600mm x 600mm or as many bends as the flashing needs to make it look as sharp as possible. These are the last parts to go on the roof so it’s best to make sure they look right and finish the job well.

Head Flashings

Like a Drip Cill, the head flashing is fitted to divert water away from the wall cladding to stop any dampness. The head also blocks the gap between the wall and the sheet. They are attached behind the sheet and then bend out away from the wall then return back. Head flashings are often used above doorways. Custom dimensions and angles are available upon request when ordered in advance.

RIDGE FLASHINGS

Ridge flashings are used on apex roofs where the roof cladding joins in the centre on the building. This creates a clean cut finished look. Our most popular Ridge flashing is 200mm x 200mm. Custom dimensions and angles are available upon request when ordered in advance. Prices differ upon dimensions of the flashing.

Drip Cills

Drip cills are fitted to the lower part of wall cladding and are bent to an angle to direct any water that may occur away from the building. Custom dimensions and angles are available upon request when ordered in advance. Prices differ upon dimensions of the flashing.

Barge Boards

Barge boards are also used on the ends of the roof/wall to shield the gap that would be present from the wind to avoid the sheets from lifting. Custom dimensions and angles are available upon request when ordered in advance. Prices differ upon dimensions of the flashing.

Barge boards can also be used as a finishing stripc etc around a door or window. 

CORNER OR JAMB FLASHINGS

Corner flashings are essentially the same as barge board flashing but instead of the flashing being horizontal the capping is vertical. Corner flashings cap the corners of the cladding run. Jambs are another form of corner flashings. Custom dimensions and angles are available upon request when ordered in advance. Prices differ upon dimensions of the flashing.

ABUTMENTS OR APRONS

Abutments are used when steel sheets finish against a wall to seal the trim. The welts are on the reverse side to barge boards.  These are essentially internal corner flashings. EAVES

Eaves are often used as a decorative flashing to create a finished look on a building and are located at the end of the run of cladding. Custom dimensions and angles are available upon request when ordered in advance. Prices differ upon dimensions of the flashing

VALLEY FLASHINGS

The valley flashing systems at Phoenix Steels can be offered in multiple sections with a capping over the top for a decorative finish. This is sometimes known as a leaf guard system. ROLLER SHUTTER DOOR FLASHINGS

At Phoenix Steels we’re able to manufacture custom roller shutter door flashings & casings.

These can be made in many different colours to suit your needs and manufactured to your desired specifications. The roller shutter flashings are used to protect your roller shutter along with it’s mechanisms. 

GUTTERS

Phoenix Steels gutters are made to measure to your building. The gutters direct the water-flow away from the building to stop any leakage in to the building. Custom dimensions and angles are available upon request when ordered in advance. Prices differ upon dimensions of the flashing.
