Anti Condensation Roofing Sheets
Price On Enquirymm
At Phoenix Steels, our anti-condensation membrane is a product designed to eliminate the problem of condensation. When the temperature and humidity conditions reach the dew point, the moisture condenses on the underside of the metal roof and forms water droplets. Our Anti-condensation roofing sheets are expertly engineered to ensure no water droplets fall.
This membrane eliminates the potential risk of damage to the contents of the building. This is a more cost-effective way of stopping this problem rather than insulating the roof with such products as composite panels. Anti-condensation backing is available on all Box Profile, 3″ Corrugated and Tile Form sheeting.
All of our products can be made to size & to order!

IDEAL FOR LIVESTOCK BUILDINGS, STABLES AND STORAGE FACILITIES
Our moisture barrier is a special membrane that solves condensation problems inside buildings with uninsulated roofs. Our moisture barrier absorbs around 1.000g/m2 of water, which is stored in tiny pores within the membrane. Phoenix’s Steels moisture barrier is a perfect solution for:
Agricultural buildings • Lean Tos & Canopies • Industrial Units • Stable Blocks • Warehouses • Park Homes • Log Cabins • Garages
Our anti-condensation roofing sheets are available in various sizes to accommodate different building requirements, ensuring a perfect fit for any project. Whether you need standard dimensions or custom lengths, we can manufacture roofing sheets tailored to your specific needs.
This flexibility allows for seamless installation while reducing material waste and ensuring optimal coverage. Our sheets are designed to provide superior moisture control, preventing condensation buildup and protecting your structure from potential water damage. With our ability to produce multiple sizes, we offer a practical and efficient solution for agricultural, industrial, and commercial roofing applications.
Product Specification
Quality Assurance • Bacteria Resistant • High Water Absorption • Quick Water Elimination • Good Adhesion on Metal • Combustibility A2-S1 D0 (EN 1301-1)

The roof panel with the moisture barrier applied provides a medium for trapping the moisture in the specially designed pockets formed in the membrane.
The moisture barrier holds the moisture until the conditions go back below the dew point and it is then released back into the air in the form of normal humidity. The moisture barrier is self-adhesive and is applied to the metal panel in the roll forming process. As a result, the moisture barrier arrives at the site already in place and ready to be installed. The membrane is resistant to ageing, and has a rubber based adhesive that actually provides an additional layer of protection for your metal panel.
The moisture barrier is made up of a large number of interlaced PES fibres among which there is enough space to store water drops. The moisture barrier serves as a medium for absorbing condensed water drops which evaporate back into the air when the temperature rises. For this process it is important that there is some air circulation (ventilation) present.
In The Evening
At sunset the outside temperature falls. Since the maximum amount of damp in the air is subject to the temperature, when the temperature of the roof reaches the dew point, the damp begins to eliminate as condensation on the roof.
The Moisture Barrier reduces the temperature difference between the metal roof & the air, causing condensation to start later.
During The Night
Because of the long wave heat radiation from the roof towards the sky, during cold night with a clear sky the temperature of an un-insulated metal roof might be might lower than that of the surrounding air. When the temperature of the roof reaches dew point, condensation starts & might start to drip!
Although there is also condensation on the metal with the moisture barrier, the pores of the membrane absorb moisture, avoiding water drips.
In The Morning
At sun rise the temperature of the metal roof will rise, after exceeding the dew point the condensation stops. Therefore the metal roof will become dry. The reverse process of condensation starts, evaporating the moisture from within the barrier.
